Call For Papers51st Annual
Far Western Philosophy of Education Society Conference Orem, Utah Wed., January 14 - Fri., January 16, 2004 Theme: The focus of this year´s conference is rethinking the intersection between Philosophy and Education in the 21st Century. This conference is an opportunity to open a dialogue between students, teachers, academicians, and theorists. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Philosophy, History, Anthropology, Moral Theory, Public Policy, Global Studies, and Educational Foundations. Due December 1, 2003
Abstracts or Papers: We seek papers, panel discussions, visual presentations, poster presentations, and other effective media to convey interactive discussions of timely and relevant issues in the Philosophy of Education. Presentations should identify critical issues, raise significant questions, and address pressing concerns facing contemporary educators and thinkers. Papers should be accessible to educators, academics, students, as well as members of the general college community. Please check the guidelines for submission before forwarding your paper.
